I don’t like to talk about them much, except as a commenter on the Eschaton blog. This post may explain this a bit.
I was a political junkie in the 80s and 90s. But I stopped in the mid 90s. I think I’m in a stage in intellectual development beyond the political junkie stage. There is no going back. I don’t know what to name this stage, but it is characterized by extreme jadedness toward all politics, extreme pessimism about the country and the world, and the tendency to take refuge with like minded people online, in the form of snarky commentary on current events.
