SR’s trach tube was taken out today! She is making good progress every day in all therapies. Doing very well. RJ has had a stomach virus that moved into her intestines. She was out of commission Sunday, went to school yesterday, and stayed home due to diarrhea today. Not clear whether it is overwith yet. She is sleeping comfortably but we may have to keep her home another day today. Mom and Dad are helping enormously with everything at home, including tag teaming with me taking care of RJ on Sunday and today so I could get out to Kings Park to see SR.

Hi John and Shien-ren,
I am very glad to hear the steady progress you have made. Chien-wei told me about the unlucky event! After my dad got Alzheimer’s disease, I realized that good or bad things can happen to anyone of us. There’s really no particular reason. So, be strong and be brave Shien-ren!
